What to know about Buffer
Channel-based pricing
Each connected social account is a channel. The captured paid prices are for one channel; the price can change as channels are added.
Free plan
Free includes up to three connected channels and 10 scheduled posts per channel. Buffer also limits Free accounts to eight unique channels per social network over their lifetime.
Scheduling queue
The 10-post Free limit is the number scheduled in a channel’s queue at one time, not a monthly limit. Buffer’s help page describes a 5,000-post-per-channel fair-use limit on paid plans.
Upgrading
Paid plans charge for each connected channel, including channels previously connected on Free. The price per channel can decrease at higher volumes.
Collaboration
The captured Essentials plan includes one user; Team lists unlimited team members and approval workflows.
Billing
The captured yearly option shows $60 per year for one Essentials channel and $120 per year for one Team channel.
