What to know about GitHub

Repositories

All three organization plans list unlimited public and private repositories.

Automation

The captured page lists 2,000 CI/CD minutes per month on Free, 3,000 on Team and 50,000 on Enterprise. GitHub’s current billing guidance describes a shared compute allowance; the minutes are standard Linux runner equivalents, and other runner types cost different amounts.

Public repositories

Standard GitHub-hosted runners are free for public repositories. Larger runners are billed, including for public repositories.

Add-ons

GitHub lists services including Codespaces, Code Security and Secret Protection as additional add-ons.
