Free plan changed

Slack replaces its Free 10,000-message limit with 90 days of history

Slack announced that the Free plan would switch to a 90-day history window on September 1, 2022. The old limit was a number of messages; the new limit is a period of time, so whether a workspace could see more or less history depended on its message volume. This describes the 2022 visibility change; retention rules may have changed since.
